Dorothy Gale and her quirky companions! As much as I adored the movie adaption, here are concepts I created closer to the written descriptions of Dorothy and others from the Wizard of Oz.

San Fran

An illustration for Egghead, a story of mine about a business man with an egg for a head. The story takes place in San Francisco, a city I love to explore, and being by the sea as it is, I colored it with teals and greens and aquamarines. Makes the Golden Gate Bridge stand out too!

Stan Development

Character development with fish-out-of-water, Stan, from Egghead. Through these sketches, I tried to discover the way Stan flows and flexes, squash and stretches, just to better understand his form and how he moves.

Miss Thursby

Some character concepts for Miss Thursby, an eccentric, cat-loving lady who lives in a tall, skinny house in London with all her furry friends.
